Aussenkehr evictees sleeping on the streets

A group of farmers were evicted from Government vineyards, apparently for deciding to sell their produce to a Dutch-based company.

Cookies made from mahangu flour are ready for the market and the Ministry of Agriculture Water and Forestry will facilitate the sale of five brands.

Top mahangu growers to be honoured

Foresters sign agreements with Government

The Minister of Agriculture, Water and Forestry wants to see Namibia’s forest products such as wood processed locally and manufactured into final products like chairs to be used in schools.

COSDEC to introduce farming courses

Despite being the only vocational centre in the region the Omaheke Community Skill Development Centre (COSDEC) is yet to reach its full potential in terms of student numbers.
